DW Drilling Operations & Planning - 5 Days
1.Description: Class reviews equipment, procedures, and potential problems in a deepwater well.
2.Target Audience: Aimed at drilling engineers and operational personnel who plan and execute deepwater wells.
3.Objective: Provide an understanding of the questions teams need to address for a thorough well plan. The pro/cons of the decisions teams must make are discussed. Understanding potential operational problems that crew may encounter.
4.Timing: Week long class.
Deepwater Drilling Short Course - 2 days
1.Description: Provides sufficient overview to understand complexity of the DW drilling operation – equipment and procedures.
2.Target Audience: Class aimed at service company and operator personnel who are involved in deepwater drilling, need an understanding of the equipment and procedures, but not the level of drilling engineers and operation supervisors.
3.Objective : Highlights key equipment, procedures and problems. Provides sufficient overview to understand complexity of the DW drilling operation.
4.Timing: 2 days
HTHP – Planning, Operations, and Engineering Issues - 3 Days
1.Description: Reviews work that must be done in planning process for a successful well plan.
2.Target Audience: Engineers, operational personnel, service company reps who work on HTHP wells.
3.Objective: Reviews what will be different for rig team – what they need to understand and be prepared for – and what work must be done in the planning stages.
